St. Anthony Basin Resources launched the Great Northern Peninsula’s first fixed route public transit service in June 2024.
Bus Service is Monday to Friday in the communities of St. Anthony, Goose Cove, St. Anthony Bight, Great Brehat & St. Carol’s and St. Lunaire-Griquet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Gunners Cove, Noddy Bay, Straitsview, Quirpon branch, Hay Cove and L’anse aux Meadows are served on Wednesday. We also rent e-bikes, do charters, tours and operate a Hop On Hop Off Service on Cruise Days.
Thanks to generous support from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, through the Community Transportation Program and the Northpine Foundation c, we have been able to advance our initial service. Additionally, SABRI Transit has received funding from the International Grenfell Association and the Federal Government under the Rural Transit Solutions Fund (RTSF).

- One-Way Pay on Bus – $5.00
- Passes can be purchased directly on the bus or at SABRI using debit, credit card or exact change.
