Broadband Internet

Home Broadband Internet

SABRI believe in advancing telecommunications to strengthen the economic base of our region. We have worked with partners to see expansion of internet services in our region.

  • Broadband infrastructure for the communities of St. Carols, Great Brehat and St. Anthony Bight. SABRI committed $30,000 in 2015 to leverage more than $565,000 to provide broadband internet services to these three communities. See Government News Release.
  • Broadband infrastructure for the community of Goose Cove East as $655,000 partnership with Government of Canada, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and Bell. See Government News Release.

In 2021, the Federal Government invests over $379,000 to bring high-speed Internet to 1,184 homes in rural Newfoundland and Labrador through the Universal Broadband Fund.

Residents of Goose Cove, Great Brehat, St. Anthony, St. Anthony Bight and St. Carols to benefit from increased connectivity.
