In 2003 SABRI began construction of a state-of-the-art cold storage facility at St. Anthony. A lease operating agreement was entered into with St. Anthony Cold Storage and the first vessel was accepted in November of 2004.
In the Fall of 2005, EIMSKIP, an international container shipping company made its first stop in St. Anthony to pick up containers and has since continued to make regular trips. Late in 2014, EIMSKIP expressed interest in taking over the operation of the cold storage facility. On February 24th, 2015 a new 20 year lease agreement between St. Anthony Basin Resources Inc. and EIMSKIP was signed.
The new operational name is now St. Anthony Cold Storage (EIMSKIP) Inc.
