Growing More Than Greens—Cultivating Community Connections

At SABRI Farms, we believe fresh, nutritious food should be accessible to everyone in our community. From day one, we’ve been committed to introducing our hydroponic greens to St. Anthony and beyond by sharing free samples with local organizations and businesses—with a special focus on inspiring young people to discover the delicious taste of fresh, nutrient-rich vegetables.

In August 2025, we were honored to receive provincial grant funding to expand our community engagement through hands-on cooking events. These interactive sessions bring youth together to learn about fresh food, healthy eating, and the joy of cooking with locally grown ingredients. We’ve been privileged to partner with incredible organizations throughout the region, including the St. Anthony Boys and Girls Club, College of the North Atlantic, Coleman’s, Cafe Nymphe, Church Assembly’s, local cooking enthusiasts, the Family Resource Center, Truman Eddison Memorial Kid’s Eat Smart programming, White Hills Academy classrooms, Raleigh Historical, area 50+ clubs, and various wellness and career fairs.

Through these partnerships, we’re doing more than growing greens—we’re growing awareness, building healthier habits, and strengthening the connections that make our community thrive. Whether we’re teaching kids to prepare their first salad or introducing seniors to new varieties at community events, SABRI Farms is proud to be an active, invested member of the neighborhoods we serve.
