St. Anthony Basin Resources will be launching the Great Northern Peninsula’s first fixed route public transit service in June 2024.
Bus Service will operate initially, Monday to Friday in the communities of St. Anthony and St. Lunaire-Griquet, with a vision to expand to a 7 day a week service and include e-bikes.
Thanks to generous support from the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, through the Community Transportation Program ($100,000) and the Northpine Foundation contribution of $250,000, we have been able to advance our initial service. Additionally, SABRI Transit has received $20,000 in funding from the International Grenfell Association.

FARES
- One-Way Pay on Bus – $3.00
- Passes can be purchased directly on the bus or at SABRI using debit, credit card or exact change.
ROUTE PLAN MONDAY TO FRIDAY, except on Cruise Ship Days. Service begins June 4th.
